In a growing trend around the UK, it looks like the seaside town of Bournemouth is next on the list to have it’s very own board game café, Coffee & Dice.
Having been in development for more than two years, they look like they could be the first gaming café in a coastal town and boasting over 500 titles to play along with hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes. It is reported that they’re also looking to obtain an alcohol license.
The 60-seat venue will be based in the new development at Calendula Place and will be open from 10am to 11pm with plans to hold special events every Tuesday also in the works.
Once open, entry will cost £4 and will grant “unlimited game access and support.”
Coffee & Dice is currently looking for an additional £10,000 to fund extra items for the venue such as a bigger library of games and custom gaming tables on Kickstarter. They’re currently aiming to open in March 2017, with Dice Trip aiming to make a full review soon after.
