This week we get double the fun with playtest archetypes for not one but two classes, the Ranger and the Rogue.
The Ranger gets two archetypes which can be tested using either the PHB or the earlier UA Ranger versions.
- Horizon Walker – these rangers not only travel the wilderness but the planes themselves and protect from incursions from them too.
- Primeval Guardian – these rangers are almost druidic in nature and dwell in the deepest parts of the eldest forests of the world.
The Rogue gets just a single archetype to test but its one of my favourites from the past – the Scout – not all rogues are city dwellers and the scouts are just at home in the actual jungle as they are in the urban one.
